DEAF ASHES TOUR
 
The Deaf Ashes is a competition played by Australia and England and is played in a very high standard as both teams are fierce competitiors. It started in 1992 when the England Deaf cricket team visited Australia to play 5 Test Matches, all in different states around Australia. Australia won the series 4-0 with the last match drawn. The 2nd Deaf Ashes Tour was held in 1994 when the Aussies visited England and came home victors 2-0 out of 5 matches. The 2004 3rd Deaf Ashes Tour in Australia saw the introduction of having 5 ODI's (One-Day Internationals) and 3 Test Matches (3 day). England visited Australia and Australia won a hard fought Test series 1-0. In contrast, they won the ODIs easily 5-0.
